Ein gesetzlich vorgeschriebener Datenschutzbeauftragter ist nicht benannt, da die Voraussetzungen nach Art. 37 DSGVO i. V. m. § 38 BDSG nicht erfüllt sind.
2 Überblick über die verarbeiteten Daten
PriceCalc Pro ist eine in den Shopify Admin eingebettete B2B-App, die ausschließlich von Shopify-Händlern (Unternehmen oder Selbstständigen) genutzt wird.
2.1 Shop- und Produktdaten (via Shopify API)
Die App ruft über die Shopify Admin GraphQL API folgende Daten ab:
- Shop-ID und Shop-Währung
- Produkt- und Variantendaten (Produktname, Variante, SKU, Einkaufspreis/Unit Cost, Verkaufspreis)
- Kollektionen, Hersteller (Vendor) und Tags
- Metafelder im Namespace
custom(Kalkulationsfaktor, Bezugskosten, Handlungskosten, Gewinnzuschlag, Puffer, MwSt-Schlüssel, Sicherungspreis)
Die App schreibt veränderte Preise und Metafelder zurück in den Shopify-Store des Nutzers. Bei diesen Daten handelt es sich in der Regel um keine personenbezogenen Daten im Sinne der DSGVO.
2.2 Abrechnungs- und Abonnementdaten
Die Abrechnung erfolgt ausschließlich über die Shopify Billing API. Zahlungsdaten werden von Shopify verarbeitet; der Anbieter hat keinen Zugriff auf Kreditkarten- oder Bankdaten. Gespeichert werden nur Plan-Status und Nutzungszähler.
2.3 App-Einstellungen (Browser-Speicherung)
Nutzereinstellungen (Autosave, Preisrundung, Sprache, Backup-Präferenz) werden im localStorage des Browsers gespeichert und nicht an Server übertragen.
2.4 Sicherungsdateien (lokale Downloads)
Exportierte Sicherungsdateien (JSON) werden direkt auf das Gerät des Nutzers heruntergeladen und nicht auf Servern des Anbieters gespeichert.
2.5 Keine Verarbeitung von Endkundendaten
PriceCalc Pro verarbeitet keine personenbezogenen Daten der Endkunden des Shopify-Händlers. Die App hat keinen Zugriff auf Bestellungen, Kundennamen, Adressen oder sonstige Kundendaten.

4 Auftragsverarbeiter und Drittanbieter
4.1 Shopify Inc.
Die App ist in den Shopify Admin eingebettet. Shopify agiert als eigenständiger Verantwortlicher gemäß eigenen Datenschutzbestimmungen: shopify.com/legal/privacy
4.2 Gadget Software Inc. (Hosting und Plattform)
Die App wird auf der Plattform Gadget (Gadget Software Inc., Vancouver, Kanada) gehostet. Gadget speichert Daten in Kanada (EU-Angemessenheitsbeschluss vorhanden) sowie in den USA über Sub-Prozessoren. Für Drittlandtransfers in die USA werden Standardvertragsklauseln (SCC) nach Art. 46 Abs. 2 lit. c DSGVO herangezogen.

5 Übermittlung in Drittländer
App-Daten können im Rahmen des Hostings durch Gadget Software Inc. in die USA und nach Kanada übertragen werden. Für Kanada besteht ein EU-Angemessenheitsbeschluss. Für Transfers in die USA werden Standardvertragsklauseln (SCC) gemäß Art. 46 Abs. 2 lit. c DSGVO als geeignete Garantien herangezogen.
6 Shopify GDPR-Webhooks
Als Shopify-Partner ist der Anbieter verpflichtet, folgende DSGVO-Webhooks zu empfangen und zu verarbeiten:
- customers/data_request: Da die App keine Endkundendaten verarbeitet, wird diese Anfrage entsprechend beantwortet.
- customers/redact: Da keine solchen Daten gespeichert werden, entfällt eine Löschung.
- shop/redact: Shop-bezogene Daten werden nach Eingang dieser Anfrage gemäß den gesetzlichen Aufbewahrungsfristen gelöscht.

Der Anbieter behält sich vor, diese Datenschutzerklärung bei Änderungen der Rechtslage, der App-Funktionen oder der Datenverarbeitungspraktiken zu aktualisieren. Die jeweils aktuelle Fassung ist in der App abrufbar. Bei wesentlichen Änderungen wird der Nutzer, soweit möglich, informiert.

2 Overview of Data Processed
PriceCalc Pro is a B2B app embedded in the Shopify Admin, used exclusively by Shopify merchants (businesses or sole traders).
2.1 Shop and Product Data (via Shopify API)
The app retrieves the following data via the Shopify Admin GraphQL API:
- Shop ID and shop currency
- Product and variant data (product title, variant, SKU, purchase price/unit cost, selling price)
- Collections, vendors, and tags
- Custom metafields (namespace
custom): calculation factor, procurement costs, handling costs, profit margin, buffer, VAT key, reference price
The app writes modified prices and metafields back to the merchant's Shopify store. This data generally does not constitute personal data under the GDPR.
2.2 Billing and Subscription Data
Billing for paid plans is processed exclusively via the Shopify Billing API. Payment data is processed by Shopify; the Provider has no access to credit card or bank account details. Only plan status and usage counters are stored.
2.3 App Settings (Browser Storage)
User settings (autosave, price rounding, language, backup preferences) are stored in the browser's localStorage and are not transmitted to the Provider's servers.
2.4 Backup Files (Local Downloads)
Exported backup files (JSON) are downloaded directly to the user's device and are not stored on the Provider's servers.
2.5 No Processing of End-Customer Data
PriceCalc Pro does not process any personal data of the Shopify merchant's end customers. The app has no access to orders, customer names, addresses, or other customer data.

4 Processors and Third-Party Providers
4.1 Shopify Inc.

4.2 Gadget Software Inc. (Hosting and Platform)
The app is hosted on the Gadget platform (Gadget Software Inc., Vancouver, Canada). Gadget stores data in Canada (EU adequacy decision in place) and in the USA via sub-processors. For transfers to the USA, Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) pursuant to Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR are used.

5 Transfers to Third Countries
App data may be transferred to the USA and Canada as part of hosting by Gadget Software Inc. Canada benefits from an EU adequacy decision. For transfers to the USA, Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) pursuant to Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR are used as appropriate safeguards.
6 Shopify GDPR Webhooks
As a Shopify Partner, the Provider is required to receive and process the following GDPR webhooks:
- customers/data_request: As the app does not process end-customer data, these requests are responded to accordingly.
- customers/redact: As no such data is stored, no deletion is necessary.
- shop/redact: Shop-related data is deleted following receipt of this request, subject to applicable statutory retention periods.
